As a courtesy to members, friends and colleagues of the EACA, we publish a weekly emailed industry newsletter that we call the Showfloor Buzz. A current copy of the Buzz is sent to all members each Wednesday to help keep them abreast of late breaking news that affects our industry, our companies, and our jobs. Friends and colleagues of the EACA are sent a past issue of the Buzz on the same day. All Showfloor Buzz's are ultimately archived here on our site and are searchable on a keyword search. 2010 International CES Announcement
CES Operations would like to remind our EAC community about a few policies put into place at the International CES: • EAC must remove all gang boxes, ladders or other equipment from the aisle or other common areas by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6 as stated in the Clean Floor Policy. The EAC is permitted to store equipment in the Exhibitor's booth only during installation and dismantle. All equipment needs to be removed from the booth by January 6, in preparation for show opening. The exhibit should be set by 3 p.m. on January 6 to devote the remainder of time to product testing.
• In an effort to maintain safety and relieve congestion on the show floor, EACs and Exhibitors are not permitted to have electric carts or scooters in the building at any time. This will be in effect at all show venues including the LVCC and Hilton. • EACs are not allowed on the show floor during show hours. If an EAC needs access during show hours they must have their Exhibitor register them for an exhibitor badge.
For a listing of these and other important CES policies, please access the EAC agreement at www.CESweb.org/eac or in the online exhibitor manual at www.CESweb.org/exhibitors/manual 2010 International CES Registration reminder: Please make sure that your exhibitor is approving you through the online tool. You can only receive a wristband if your exhibitor has confirmed you as their EAC. Access your profile online at www.CESweb.org/eac to check and see that this step has been completed. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
