As efforts continue to slow down the spread of the coronavirus, top tier cities in the US are taking steps to expand the capacity of their healthcare systems.   Headed up by the Army Corps of Engineers one of the strategies being implemented is the conversion of event industry convention centers to field hospitals.

As of today, there are already field hospitals set up in noted facilities like Javits Convention Center in NY, McCormick Place in Chicago and the Los Angeles Convention Center.  This week’s program is about the conversion of event industry convention centers to Field Hospitals.   Our program features discussions with panelists John O’Shea of Czarnowski, Bob Dobinski of Corporate Events I&D, and Kevin McLaughlin, the international representative to the trade show industry from the Carpenters union.
