This week’s Zoom program will focus on event industry efforts that have already taken place to inform federal legislation as well as ongoing efforts that endeavor to stabilize our industry and provide for a healthy business environment for events when the pandemic subsides.
Our panelists today are Rick Simon who is the Chairman of United Service Companies and who also represents the Trade Show Executive Media Group. Trade Show Executive Media Group is spearheading the Trade Show Recovery Act effort along with ISSA, GBAC and IAVM. Sue Sung, Sr VP of Corporate Strategy from Freeman who is administering the Go Live Together effort which just launched their program and their website this week. And, of course our panel wouldn’t be complete without David DuBois, Executive Director of IAEE who has been working closely with the US Travel Association on lobbying efforts with Congress for the events industry.
