The EACA livestreamed a panel discussion on Friday, June 4, 2021 to recap the results from this year’s Exhibition’s Day, organized by IAEE, and to get updates on the lobbying activities of the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA) and the joint lobbying efforts of EDPA and EACA.   Registration is required.

Exhibitions Day is an annual event, organized by IAEE, that provides and opportunity for industry professionals to meet with directly with the staff of their elected federal representatives on issues of importance.    The event takes place in person during non-pandemic years but was a virtual event this year and last.   We’ll discuss outcomes of that effort as well as the other ongoing lobbying efforts being spearheaded by ECA and the joint efforts of EDPA and EACA.

ECA will provide an update on the status of the Hospitality and Commerce Job Recovery Act (HCJRA) and EDPA and EACA will provide an update on the status of the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant legislation.
