2025 Randy Hotel Update.    The turnout for this year’s Randy looks to break recent high water marks and this is having an impact on hotel availability for those traveling from out of town.    Here’s the current status:

  • Chateau Inn   – Room block is Sold Out.  Hotel is completely full.
  • Hampton Inn – Alternative hotel on the Chateau property.    Rooms available.     Cut off date to make reservation is September 9.
  • Baymont        – Alternative hotel across the street from the Chateau property.    Rooms available.     Cut off date to make reservation is September 8.

EACA Postpones Member Conference @ The Randy.   The EACA Board has decided that due to unforeseen conflicts with member’s travel plans and volunteer commitments surrounding The Randy,  we regret to announce the postponement of our planned member conference. We believe this decision will allow our members to fully engage in both The Randy and future opportunities, ensuring a more successful and enjoyable experience for all.

Meanwhile the Board is currently working on alternative plans for the delivery of the exciting program that had been created.

Eagle Management In the News.

          Appoints Lawlor as Nashville City Manager  Eagle Management Group has appointed Bob Lawlor as the City Manager of Nashville. Lawlor brings a wealth of experience in the trade show industry,            having worked in various roles across multiple cities, and will now focus on growing Eagle’s presence in Nashville and surrounding areas.  Lawlor joined Eagle in 2018 as the Chicago City Manager (.              (previously with Zenith as City Mgr. for 22 years.)

           Eagle Management Announces New Hires.  Eagle Management Group welcomed Jillian Randles to its growing team as Account Manager. Jillian’s connection to the trade show industry runs.                     deep. Her mother has  been a longstanding member of the Eagle team, giving Jillian a front-row seat to the behind-the-scenes action of live events and logistics since childhood.

            Eagle Management Group also announced the addition of Caleb Gebel to its team as Account Manager. Caleb brings a unique and creative background to Eagle, which will be invaluable as the company continues to                  grow and expand its operations. His role will be multifaceted, providing essential support across various departments and areas within the company. Caleb’s introduction to the trade show industry came through his                      brother’s fiance, Antonia Nuzzolo, a long-time Eagle team member

           Eagle Management Merges with Octane Group..  Eagle Management Group recently announced that, effective September 19, 2025, members of the Octane team will be joining Eagle as part of its growing                               organization. This transition marks a significant moment for both companies. While Octane will be dissolved as a separate entity, its talented professionals, strong relationships, and legacy of quality will carry forward                     within Eagle’s team.

ExSys Award Winners Announced <Exhibit City News>  On July 30, in Chicago at Moss Headquarters, hosted by Exhibit City News, The Experiential Design Authority announced the winners of its first-annual ExSys Awards competition, honoring excellence in system-based exhibit design and execution. The inaugural competition received more than 130 entries from exhibit designers, producers, and manufacturers in the United States, Europe, and Australia.

Aluvision received this year’s System of the Year Award for racking up the most wins throughout the competition, and Condit Exhibits was named Agency of the Year, with five of its entries taking home Gold and Silver trophies. Meanwhile, Debbie Parrott, President and CEO of Highmark Techsystems received this year’s ExSys Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her dedication to the experiential design industry and contributions to the manufacture and innovation of system-based exhibits.
