EACA Board Scheduled to Meet @ EDPA ACCESS. The EACA Board will hold its annual end of year meeting at EDPA ACCESS on Amelia Island, Florida on December 2, 2025. The agenda for the end of year meeting always includes elections for new Board Directors. This year we will be holding elections for 3 Directors whose terms are expiring. And we will be adding 2 new Directors positions for EACs that represent smaller or regional markets.

Eagle Management Announces New Hires. Eagle Management has announced the addition of Steven Bradley as Senior Account Executive. Eagle has also announced the addition of Caroline Geere and Tyna Seu as Senior Account Managers. Eagle also announced the addition of Randy Smith as Operations Liaison and Samantha Hoff to its Sales team.

IBIE 2025 Sees Record Setting Show Floor/Debuts New Programming <TSNN> How do you kick off a baking trade show? By slicing through an eight-foot-long loaf of bread, of course. That’s how the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), touted as the Western Hemisphere’s largest and most comprehensive baking event, welcomed its return to the Las Vegas Convention Center Sept. 13–17. The show, which is held every three years, brought together thousands of baking professionals, suppliers, and artisans.

Spirit Airlines to Reduce Fleet by 40% <Travel Pulse> Spirit Airlines is attempting to reduce its fleet by 40 percent as part of the carriers Chapter 11 Bankruptcy case. The airline is also looking to leave more than a dozen U.S. airports, including Hartford, Connecticut, and Minneapolis. Spirit, which has 214 aircraft, asked the court to reject 87 of its aircraft leases. Recently the bankruptcy court awarded the airline $475 million in funds from its existing bondholders to keep its operations up and running. Spirit’s additional belt tightening plans by included the furloughing of 330 pilots. The airline plans to furlough 270 more next month.
Business Aviation Takes Flight at 2025 NBAA-BACE <TSNN> The civil aviation trade show was held Oct. 14-16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport (HND). It welcomed roughly 17,000 attendees—a number on par with previous years—from the business aviation industry, including companies and nonprofit organizations that utilize aircraft—from single-pilot airplanes to turbine aircraft that fly internationally to helicopters that survey rush-hour traffic. The event ranked #29 on TSNN’s Top Trade hows List for 2024 with roughly 800 exhibitors. The event’s footprint typically spans 500,000 square feet in total.
