Exhibitor Advocate Releases New Survey The Exhibitor Advocate has released its 2024 Survey of Exhibition Rates. This report provides benchmarking data on material handling, labor, booth furnishings, internet access, and other essential exhibition costs. These are critical insights that exhibitors, event organizers, suppliers and venue operators can use to anticipate expenses, navigate pricing challenges, and make informed decisions to optimize their event strategies.
2025 Annual Member Salary Survey The EACA will be sending out our Annual Salary Survey again next week. We encourage all members to participate. And, we remind you that all responses are kept completely confidential. Any member who participates in the survey will receive a complete copy of the results once the survey concludes. Javits Taps Leveston at First Female CEO<TSNN> The New York Convention Center Operating Corporation (NYCCOC) has selected 30-year convention industry veteran Joyce Leveston as the new CEO of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, following a unanimous recommendation by the executive search committee and approval from the NYCCOC Board of Directors. Joining the Javits team on February 10, Leviston will officially take the helm on March 10.
TSNN Analysis: Top 8 Trends for U.S. Exhibition Industry
1. Positive outlook in U.S. In the 2nd half of 2024, 65% of respondents indicated they increased industry operations and only 10% reported a decline. For the first half of 2025, 78% of respondents are predicting an increase in industry operations and none are reporting a reduction.
2. Exhibition space surpasses pre-COVID levels in U.S. Compared with 2019, respondents reported a 2% increase in exhibit space sold in 2024.
3. Double-digit revenue growth projected for 2025 in U.S. Compared with 2023, 2024 revenues increased 4%. In 2025, respondents are projecting a 21% increase year over year.
